1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of contest. Participation in this contest constitutes acceptance of these conditions of contest.
2. Contest is open only to all Malaysian residents age 9 to 15 years, except members of the immediate families of directors, management and employees of Cadbury Confectionery (M) Sdn Bhd (¡°Organiser¡±) or the agencies or companies associated with this contest. Contestants must seek their parent¡¯s or legal guardian¡¯s consent to enter the contest.
3. The overall contest commences on 11 August 2008 and closes on 30 September 2008 (¡°Contest Period¡±). All video submission via the website, snail mail and the on ground search team must be submitted before 7 September 2008.
4. To enter, contestants must be present in person at the filming location, submit their completed information sheet with their signed parental consent (available at school office) and have their photo taken. They will be given an entry number. Contestants are then required to perform their talent in front of a video camera. They must first creatively name their stunt, then perform their stunt, consume a Choclairs sweet and recite the line ¡°Inilah Caraku!¡± at the end of their performance. Each participant will be given a maximum of one (1) minute.
5. Alternatively, contestants can also submit their video entries via the website at www.choclairs.com.my or snail mail to Pertandingan Jom Tunjuk Caramu!, Cadbury Confectionery Malaysia Sdn Bhd, PO Box 7043, 40700 Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Each video entry must be accompanied by their personal details i.e. Full Name as per IC, IC Number / Birth Certificate Number, Address, Contact Number and Email Address.
6. Sample talent performances (i.e. ¡°stunts¡±) may include: singing, dancing, acting, sports exhibition, playing a musical instrument, reciting poetry, stand-up comedy, magic tricks, story telling and others.
7. All recorded performances will be reviewed by a panel of judges and short listed candidates will be notified by the organiser. There will be twelve (12) finalists, one (1) per covered state. The judges decision shall be final.
8. Stunts performed will be judged based on the following criteria:
Creativity & originality in performing the stunt 40%
Appearance & presentation during the filming 20%
Additional props used during the filming 20%
Entertainment value of the stunt 20%
Total 100%
9. Shortlisted video performances will be edited and turned over to media partner and uploaded onto the contest website at www.choclairs.com.my.
10. If an entry that was uploaded on to the website or sent by snail mail by the contestant is shortlisted, the contestant will be required to submit his / her signed parental consent form to the organizers. Failing to do which, the organizer reserves the right to replace that entry with another shortlisted entry.
11. From 13th to 30th September 2008, the general public will be given the opportunity to vote for the top three (3) winners. Voting can be done on the website at www.choclairs.com.my or by SMS to 33399 after viewing the contest spots on the WHOA! Segment on NTV7 during the voting period.
12. The organiser accepts no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communication network or any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible or corrupted entries. The organiser is not liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences of user error.
13. The following prizes will be awarded:
State winners:
a) Main Prize x 12: One per state, each receiving an iPOD Nano 4GB.
b) Consolation Prize x 120: Best 10 per state, each receiving a Cadbury backpack.
National winners:
c) Grand Prize x 3: Each grand prize winner will receive the following:
 
  • Appearance in an upcoming Zak & Gang TV cartoon series.
  • One X-Box 360.
  • Shopping Vouchers worth RM500.
Voting winners (Online and SMS)*:
a) SMS Prize x 6: 2 winners weekly of a Sony PSP; the 700th and 1400th vote
b) Online Prize x 6: 2 winners weekly of a Sony PSP; the 700th and 1400th vote
  *Online and SMS voters may only win once throughout the duration of the contest period.
  *In the event there is no 700th or 1400th voter (Online & SMS), the organizer reserves the right not to award any prize whatsoever.
*Winners may be required to answer a question.
*Only Malaysian residents age 9 to 15 years are eligible to win the above said prizes.
Most referral winners (Online)*:
a) Most Referral Prize x 3: 1 winner weekly of a Cadbury Hamper worth RM500
  *Most referral winner may only win once throughout the duration of the contest period.

14. Any ancillary costs incurred, as a result of taking a prize, are the responsibility of the winner.
15. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If for any reason a prize is not available, the organiser reserves the right to substitute another item for it, in its sole discretion, of similar value.
16. The winners will be notified by a phone call from the organiser. The organiser shall not be responsible for any errors in contact details sent by the contestants. A maximum of three (3) attempts will be made to contact the winners.
17. The winners must, at the organiser¡¯s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the organiser using their name and image in promotional material.
18. The organizer reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the organiser.
19. The organiser may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any entries, and prohibit further participation in this contest by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the contest or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person or any other reason at the organiser¡¯s sole and absolute discretion.
20. If for any reason any aspect of this contest is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the organiser which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, the organiser may at its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required.
21. The organiser, its associated agencies and companies and the agencies and companies associated with this contest will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person¡¯s negligence) in connection with this contest or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
22. Prizes must be claimed by 31st December 2008. Failure to do so will result in the winner forfeiting the prize.
23. All entries will be the property of the organiser. The information contestants provide will be used by the organizer for the purpose of conducting this contest. The organiser may disclose entrants¡¯ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this contest or communicating with contestants and to government authorities and winner¡¯s name may be published as required under the relevant legislation.
24. The organiser may at its sole and absolute discretion amend the terms and conditions set out herein without prior notice.
25. By participating in this Cadbury Choclairs ¡°Jom Tunjuk Caramu!¡± Contest, each contestant undertakes that it shall not bring any claims, action or proceedings against Cadbury Confectionery (M) Sdn Bhd, it¡¯s promotion agency or its associated and related companies relating to this promotion whether in contract, tort or otherwise.
