Rules & Regulations:

1.Participation in this contest constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions of contest.

2. This contest is open only to all Malaysian residents age 9 to 15 years, except members of the immediate families of directors, management and employees of Cadbury Confectionery (M) Sdn Bhd (“Organizers”) or the agencies or companies associated with this contest. Contestants must seek their parent’s or legal guardian’s consent to enter the contest.

3. Each entry must include a minimum of 1 Choclairs wrapper. The more Choclairs wrapper used the more creative & the higher the chance of winning. Other than Choclairs wrapper, only color pencils are allowed to be used.

4. Participants may send in as many entries as they like. Photostat copies of the contest form are allowed.

5. All entries must be sealed with an envelope. The contest form should not be folded.

6. The organizer accepts no responsibility for any liabilities or any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, or damaged entries. The organizer is not liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences of user error.

 
  7. Closing date for entries is on 30th April 2009

8. Contestant can submit their entries via the designated  school office and they will be collected at a designated date. For list of designated schools, please log on to www.choclairs.com.my. Alternatively, contestant can also submit in person via mail to Peraduan Dunia Kolaj Cadbury Choclairs, Cadbury Confectionery Malaysia Sdn Bhd, PO Box 7043, 40700 Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Each entry must be accompanied by their personal details i.e. Full Name as per I.C, I.C Number / Birth Certificate Number, Address and Contact Number.

9. The following prizes will be awarded:
Group 1 (9-12yo):

3rd prize: DIGITAL CAMERA, Canon Powershot A470

Group 2 (13-15yo):   
Grand prize: LAPTOP
Acer Aspire 4395G
2nd prize: Playstation 3
3rd prize: Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone W550i/B
Consolation prize x 6: 1GB Apple iPod shuffle

10. The winners will be determined based on the creativity of their entries. Judges decisions are final. No appeal or correspondence will be entertained.

11. Any ancillary cost incurred, as a result of participation in the contest is the responsibility of the contestant.

12. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If for any reason a prize is not available, the organizer reserves the right to substitute another item for it, in its sole discretion, of similar value.

13. The winners will be notified by a phone call from the organizer. The organizer shall not be responsible for any errors in contact details sent by the contestants. A maximum of three (3) attempts will be made to contact the winners.

14. The winners must, at the organizer’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the organizer using their name and image in promotional material.

15. The organizer reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the organizer.

16. The organizer may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any entries, and prohibit further participation in this contest by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the contest or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person or any other reason at the organizer’s sole and absolute discretion

17. The organizer, its associated agencies and companies and the agencies and companies associated with this contest will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this contest or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

18. Prizes must be claimed by 31st July 2009. Failure to do so will result in the winner forfeiting the prize.

19. All entries will be the property of the organizer. The information contestants provide will be used by the organizer for the purpose of conducting this contest. The organizer may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this contest or communicating with contestants and to government authorities and winner’s name may be published as required.

20. The organizer may at its sole and absolute discretion amend the terms and conditions set out herein without prior notice.

21. By participating in this Peraduan Dunia Kolaj Cadbury Choclairs, each contestant undertakes that it shall not bring any claims, action or proceedings against Cadbury Confectionery (M) Sdn Bhd, it’s promotion agency or its associated and related companies relating to this promotion whether in contract, tort or otherwise.
